Join us in our glass room to make a unique piece to be worn at special times in your life, our tutor Judith will guide you every step of the way. You will learn how to create your own handmade jewellery using wire, beads, pliers, stitching and wrapping techniques.
About the Tutor
Judith has been making jewellery since 2004 and has a background in textiles. With a degree in Embroidery this set her on the path of exploring intricate details, subtle colour choices and delicate textures.
Judith has a love of the elegance and detailed finish of Edwardian and Victorian jewellery and dress and the sumptuous fabrics and embroidery of the twenties and thirties. With both providing inspiration for her collections and style. Some collections incorporate found objects like beautiful antique carved mother of pearl buttons or fine antique lace, which Judith loves giving new life to. This brings a sense of “time standing still” to the pieces Judith creates.
