About the Tutor
Joe Gregory has been teaching weaving for over 10 years. Based in Todmorden, West Yorkshire she teaches from her workshop there to students from across the UK and internationally. She also teaches regularly for the RHS, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, the NHS and for a number of small charities.
Initially she found herself drawn to willow after a long illness, a distraction from her young children and the hustle and bustle of life. Wonderfully versatile and forgiving, weaving with willow gave her strength, confidence and purpose again.
From humble beginnings working from her kitchen table she has grown her company Creative with Nature into a successful, ethical business using totally sustainable English willow and loves sharing her enthusiasm and knowledge in basketry and sculpture
