We just can’t wait for Spring to burst into the gardens here at Toolerstone. We are giddy as a herd of gambling lambs
INTRODUCING LEAH
Leah joined our little team in February and brings with her social media skills, creativity, first hand experience of well-being activities and a youthful energy. We are very excited to work with her and hope she enjoys being part of our team, helping us to help others.
MINDFUL MONDAY MOMENTS
Live on site from Monday 28th February, we are offering a Tai Chi session with breakfast on Monday mornings. £15 for a ticket includes an hour of Tai Chi with the lovely Jo Perry and a light breakfast in our glass refectory; an uplifting way to begin your week! Bring a friend and do something good for your body and soul.
OPEN GARDEN MONDAYS
Very excited to announce that, from April we are opening up our gardens on Mondays. For a contribution of £10 you will be able to come along, enjoy coffee and a cake and escape for a few hours in this lovely, green space. There is a small gift shop stocked with artisan products from local makers. We hope that you may wish to bring a camera and get stuck in to some photography, or maybe use one of our portable ‘sketching’ chairs and settle down for an afternoon of art. Simon, our head gardener, will be hosting garden tours and answering questions for any keen gardeners. In warmer weather feel free to throw down a picnic blanket and chill out under the shade of one our willows down by the pond.
To check availability and book these experiences, please go on line and go to ‘book a creative workshop’. Tai Chi Mondays are already there and Open Garden Mondays will be coming very soon.
Please note: We respectfully offer these days to adults only, as we aim to create a relaxing environment. (Sorry, no dogs and no children, although we do love them.) We advise there are many shallow steps and gravel pathways in our gardens and grounds as well as deep water features, so please be aware of that and take care when moving around. Unfortunately, we do not have access for wheelchair users.
