Summer time @:Toolerstone

In celebration of our garden setting!

Fingers are crossed for some sun rays across our gardens this June, as we hold our third Open Garden event of the year on Monday 27th June.

It’s been fun meeting everyone and I’ve had so many of you telling me that you have lived locally for years and didn’t know there was even a house here, never mind the gardens.

The gardens at Toolerstone have been managed and developed over the years by our head gardener Simon Deabill, who will be on hand to show you around the gardens and answer any of your gardening related questions. We have many areas where you can sit quietly in the shade listening to the birds, as well as sweeping lawns where you can throw down a blanket and stare up at the clouds. You will never be far from the calming sound of a water feature and we’ll offer you a cup of tea or coffee with a delicious slice of home-made cake. Our fanfare to Summer is a ‘PIC-NIC AND PIMMS PARTY’ on Monday 18th July. This is a celebration of our first year in business @:Toolerstone so we hope you will be able to join us! We’ll be having some live entertainment during the afternoon and you will receive a pic-nic in a box, prepared by our very own Barbara Darling, with a glass of Pimms or a soft drink, to take out into the gardens and enjoy at your leisure. (I’ve heard there’s going to be a window open offering ice cream cones, with chocolate flakes and raspberry sauce too!). So please do come and help us celebrate what we’re doing here; its been a joyous year!
