Join us for this gentle day of mindful mending in our Glass Room. Focusing on step by step guidance with our tutor (Rachel) you will be taken through a series of mending methods. Learn new skills or improve your stitch technique so you can rescue a treasured favourite wardrobe piece and sustain your clothing for years to come. When you return home you may even decide to refresh a dress or jumper with your new found skills!
Decorative repair is very personal, there are infinite ways to ‘embellishmend’, and yours will be unique. The resurgence of mending as an art form is trending and is a step further to healing the planet. You will complete the day with a series of colourful samples, along with your own wooden embroidery hoop, fabric, needle and threads to take away so you can continue stitching in your own time.
