Description

floristry workshop tutor

We are delighted to welcome Kathryn of Fierce blooms to @:Toolerstone. Kathryn is generously donating her time & knowledge to run this workshop for us.

Join us in our Glass Room and learn how to apply classic floral design principles to create a garden gathered wild design. Our Mother’s Day Bouquet workshop is a floristry workshop with a difference. Kathryn’s style encourages conscious creativity inspired by wild garden-grown flowers and embraces an environmentally sustainable floral future.

A bit more detail …

Take some time out in our floral workshop where you will learn the art of environmental floristry using the differing shapes, textures, and curves of naturally grown flowers. You will also be guided in the practical considerations about the environment and how to work with the seasons. Your bouquet is yours to take home to enjoy or gift to a special person in your life.

About the tutor

Kathryn’s wild garden style floral design is a passion. A passion that rooted from spending time as a child with her Grandfather in his garden and greenhouse. Having studied Botany at University as well as floral design at Reeseheath College, Kathryn has won prizes at the South Cheshire show for her designs and in her own words “I feel I am exactly where I am meant to be”. Kathryn grows most of her flowers and foliage in her Cheshire canal-side flower cutting garden. Her designs are natural and the unfolding seasons inspire her work.
